Saddle Lake RCMP seized firearms and a large quantity of drugs after a search warrant on August 24. Saddle Lake RCMP alongside the RCMP Emergency Response Team, RCMP Police Dog Services and the Eastern Alberta District Crime Reduction Unit, executed a search warrant at a residence in Saddle Lake. “Members were able to locate two prohibited firearms, 209 grams of suspected methamphetamine, and 450 grams of suspected cocaine,” reads the RCMP release. Two counts of unsafe storage of firearms, possession of restricted firearm/prohibited weapon with ammo without licence/registration and possession of firearm with tampered serial number. 34-year-old Edmonton resident Jaffar Sadiq Oswald Dickson, was charged with, possession for the purpose of trafficking methamphetamine and cocaine, Two counts of unauthorized possession of a prohibited weapon or restricted weapon.
