But the Denver Nuggets (to the extent they were ever in the mix), Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers are in trouble now. And all three may come back with largely the same rosters they had in 2025-26. The Nuggets are still short on athleticism (even if they bring back restricted free agent Peyton Watson). The Warriors are way too old to compete with the West's younger contenders and have two roster spots tied up by injured players (Jimmy Butler and Moses Moody).
