With Detroit Tigers ace Tarik Skubal potentially hitting the trade market ahead of the deadline, it appears the rich could get richer. According to USA Today's Bob Nightengale, the Los Angeles Dodgers "plan to be greedy, and are infatuated with the opportunity of becoming the first National League team to win three consecutive World Series championships." The 29-year-old has posted a 2.83 ERA and a 0.93 WHIP, picking up 98 strikeouts in 14 starts. The Dodgers are the top team in baseball and have the third-best ERA at 3.55. When fully healthy, Los Angeles has arguably the best rotation in baseball with Yoshinobu Yamamoto, Blake Snell, Tyler Glasnow and Shohei Ohtani.
