Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice has been cleared from his knee injury ahead of training camp, head coach Andy Reid told reporters Friday. Chiefs training camp is set to begin next Wednesday in St. Joseph, Missouri. Rice has been limited to just 12 total games over the last two seasons after a season-ending right knee injury suffered on a collision with Patrick Mahomes in September 2024. The procedure Rice underwent in May addressed lingering problems from that injury, Schefter reported. What Rice is able to achieve will hinge in large part on the availability of Patrick Mahomes, who suffered his own season-ending knee injury last winter.
