The Seattle Mariners are embracing a new pregame uniform in honor of their city's most famous raccoon. Jack Duval shared a photo Friday of Julio Rodriguez wearing a shirt featuring "Jimothy" during batting practice. Jimothy, a raccoon with a spinal deformity, became Internet famous after videos of him in the Seattle area went viral this summer. The raccoon ultimately beat his salmon competitors to claim the win in the July 17 race. The Mariners will hope bringing some more Jimothy references into the club's pregame prep will help the team bounce back from consecutive losses to the Cincinnati Reds.
