The Bonnyville Regional Fire Authority has announced the implementation of new LIFEPAK 35 monitor/defibrillators across all EMS Divisions.
“BRFA is the first EMS provider in Alberta – and among the first in Canada – to adopt this next generation of critical care technology, underscoring its commitment to innovation and excellence in patient care,” reads the BRFA release.
The new technology provides paramedics with advanced cardiac monitoring, defibrillation, cardiac pacing, and real-time data transmission.
“This milestone demonstrates BRFA’s leadership in advancing pre-hospital emergency care,” said Alicia Krawchuk, Regional Chief of Emergency Services.
“Our EMS Division is excited to bring this technology to the communities we serve,” added Ken Hesson, Deputy Chief of Paramedic Operations.
