of Bonnyville is coming up and as of September 4, candidates have filed for every ward. So far, Barry Kalinski, the current reeve, and Ward 2 councillor Darcy Skarsen have applied for reeve. In Ward 1, current councillor Josh Crick and Vania Lawrence are running. Ward 3, has Kenneth Pshyk, while Ward 4 includes current councillor Don Slipchuk and Edward Duchesne. Ward 5 candidates are Norbert Dander and William (Bill) Kenzie, and Ward 6 has current councillor Ben Fadeyiw and Timothy Ostertag.
