Pinehouse RCMP are investigating a shooting that left one man seriously injured on Highway 165 between Pinehouse and La Ronge. Police say they were called around 1:45 p.m. on July 26 after receiving a report of an injured man in a rural area. Investigators say the shooting happened during an interaction between the occupants of a white truck and a grey truck on the highway. During the encounter, a firearm was discharged, striking the driver of the white truck. Anyone with information about the shooting or the possible second victim is asked to contact Pinehouse RCMP by calling 310-RCMP or anonymously through Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers.
