Cold Lake residents will be heading to the polls on October 20 to elect a mayor and six councillors. Advance voting will take place at the Tri-City Mall on October 8, the Cold Lake Seniors’ Society North on October 10, and the Energy Centre’s Reid Field House on October 15. Regular voting will also be held at the Reid Field House on election day. As of September 10, candidates running for mayor include, Sherri Buckle, Bob Mattice who is a current councillor, and Ty Mikolas. For council, candidates running are current councillors Ryan Bailey, Vicky Lefebvre, Bill Parker, and Chris Vining, along with Glenn Barnes, Raymond Cowell, Hussein Elkadri, Sarah Fewchuk, and James Anthony McDonald.
