Under the temporary timetable, services between London Waterloo and Salisbury will continue to run every 30 minutes. Every other hour, the service will extend to Exeter St Davids. Journey times from London Waterloo to Yeovil Junction will be extended by three minutes, with the return journey taking 13 minutes longer. Trips continuing to Exeter St Davids will be extended by up to 24 minutes outbound and 27 minutes inbound. SWR and Network Rail Wessex have taken steps to minimise disruption by strengthening the route.
