Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky meets Donald Trump at the White House to discuss Patriot missiles, military support and diplomatic efforts in the Russia-Ukraine war. Zelensky said on social media that the discussions included Trump’s earlier offer to allow Ukraine to produce Patriot air defence missiles through licensing arrangements. The meeting reflected a change in relations between Trump and Zelensky compared with their tense Oval Office meeting in 2025. Since then, both leaders have held further discussions, with Trump offering support measures including the possibility of Ukraine producing Patriot missiles. After meeting Trump, Zelensky was expected to address US senators regarding a bipartisan Russia sanctions bill.
