Residents of the Town of Bonnyville will be heading to the polls on October 20 to elect their next council. Town council is made up of a mayor and six councillors. Nominations are open until 12:00 p.m. on September 22, seven candidates have applied as of September 15. Mayor Elissa Brosseau is seeking re-election. Running for councillors are current councillor Kayla Blanchette, Philip Kushnir, Brian McEvoy and David Sharun, along with Caitlyn Bush, Christine (Tina) Michaud, Neil Langridge and Byron Johnson.
