A set of 1.43-million-year-old footprints uncovered near Lake Turkana in northern Kenya is reshaping scientists’ understanding of Paranthropus boisei. The findings, published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (PNAS), are based on footprints preserved in ancient lakeshore sediments.
