A new St. Paul center will offer housing and support services for over a thousand youths and young families each year. Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota (LSS) announced Tuesday the new center, named “LSS Center for Changing Lives,” is set to open in the fall. The nonprofit said the St. Paul location is expected to serve more than 1,100 people annually, expanding its services to the Frogtown and Rondo communities. The LSS Center for Changing Lives says it will include an early learning center, childcare and transitional housing for youth and young families experiencing homelessness. Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota also said the interior design is youth-focused with modern furniture, bright colors and open spaces.
