Designs are completed for the Cold Lake Medical Clinic expansion, adding more than 15,000 square feet to the facility. “The doctors and staff have very limited space in the clinic as it is right now,” said Chris Vining, board chair and council appointment of the Municipal Controlled Corporation (MCC). “When we first started the MCC, there were only two doctors working out of the clinic,” said Vining. “Now we are up to six, with one more on the way in the next few months, bring us to a total of seven.”Cold Lake Medical Clinic is operated by the city’s MCC, which revealed the new designs at their Annual General Meeting at the beginning of September. “By taking this route, we were able to better advocate for driving more doctors to the community.”For more information on the Cold Lake Medical Clinic visit the city’s website.
