The AT&T Performing Arts Center and Dallas Theater Center could merge, a letter from the leadership for both organizations announced this morning. The letter says that a unified AT&T PAC will be led by Tranquada and will continue to present its roster of Center Presents, Broadway at the Center, and Elevator Project. The combined organization will also expand its education offerings, and will continue to support Dallas artists and cultural organizations, including the DTC’s Diane and Hal Brierley Resident Acting Company. The performing arts industry has been undergoing profound systemic change nationwide,” the letter says.
