As reported by the Gazette & Herald, multiple vehicles from North Yorkshire Police and Yorkshire Ambulance Service attended the scene in Commercial Street, Norton. RECOMMENDED READING:A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police said: “At 11.07am today (Tuesday 28 July 2026) we were contacted by the Ambulance Service regarding a concern for safety incident at an address on Commercial Street, Norton. “Officers attended the location and assisted before the individual was left in the care of the Ambulance Service.” A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Ambulance Service said: "Ambulance resources responded to a concern for safety incident at a property on Commercial Street, Norton on Tuesday morning." The air ambulance was also spotted flying overhead, but it did not land in the town.
