The scene will be visited again by the service this morning. FIREFIGHTERS from across the county have been called to a large crop fire in North Yorkshire. North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service says its crews from Sherburn, two from Scarborough, Malton, and Robin Hood's Bay have been called to a fire on a farm in Bridlington Road, Hunmanby, Filey at 4.20pm today (July 28). National Rail added that no trains are able to run between Bridlington and Scarborough as the fire has blocked the line. Firefighters are working alongside local farmers using water bowsers to contain the fire and prevent it from spreading further.
