FARGO — Four downtown Fargo businesses failed during a recent citywide alcohol compliance check, according to a release from Fargo Cass Public Health. Front Street Taproom, NoBull Smokehouse, Pounds and Wurst Bier Hall all failed the check Tuesday, July 21, the release said. It was the first failure in one year for each business, for which the penalty is a $500 fine, according to the release. ADVERTISEMENTTwenty other businesses passed the check, resulting in an 83% compliance rate. The checks are conducted to ensure alcohol is not being sold to underage individuals.
