From her first day working for the Theva Gems family, she was either a witness to or a victim of the sadistic streak running through the three men of the house. A fellow maid took her own life during Kaimook's early days, and Kaimook herself was assaulted by Rungroj in the greenhouse. As emotionally staggering as this drama is, Master of the House does an excellent job of distracting the viewer with the Phupat and Mawin feud. While Phupat is downstairs absorbing that, the episode cuts to Kaimook in the office above him, carefully dissecting a pinned moth. Or is Master of the House destined to become synonymous with George Orwell's Animal Farm?
