Justice, Local News, News July 28th, 2026The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary arrested a man following an assault in St. John’s this week. On Saturday (July 25) around 1:30 a.m., Operational Patrol Services responded to a report of unknown trouble at a residence in the centre city area of St. John’s. Upon arrival, officers located a male who had been assaulted with a weapon and received serious, but non-life-threatening injuries. Further investigation determined that 27-year-old Logan Crane and a second, unknown male had entered the home, assaulted the victim with a weapon and demanded money before fleeing. Yesterday (July 27) at approximately 9:30 p.m., Crane was arrested and charged with breaking and entering, aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, robbery, breaching a release order and breaching a probation order.
