Justice, News July 28th, 2026Grand Falls-Windsor RCMP arrested a 61-year-old man for impaired operation after responding to a single vehicle crash in Point of Bay Friday afternoon. Police also charged him for driving while prohibited and executed an outstanding warrant for his arrest. On July 24, shortly after 3:30 p.m., Grand Falls-Windsor RCMP responded to a report of a single vehicle crash on Route 352 just north of Point of Bay. He is expected to appear in court at a future date on that prior charge, as well as a new charge of driving while prohibited. Police are waiting on the results of laboratory testing to determine if charges of impaired operation are also appropriate.
