Justice, News July 28th, 2026The RCMP arrested a 34-year-old wanted man after a foot chase in Stephenville Friday afternoon. Shortly after 1:30 p.m. on July 24, RCMP West District and Bay St. George RCMP officers stopped a vehicle on St. Claire Avenue in Stephenville. A passenger exited the vehicle and fled from police on foot. Officers engaged in a foot pursuit, and Michael Kane, 34, was taken into police custody without incident nearby. Kane was identified by police as wanted on an outstanding unendorsed warrant for his arrest.
