The family of Joshua Soden is suing Morgan Lange, Bentley's Tavern and some other individuals for compensation on his death. BALLSTON SPA, N.Y. (WNYT)- Joshua Soden’s family says a guilty plea in his death brings some relief as they prepare to pursue a civil lawsuit. The family’s attorney said that relief came after Morgan Lange pleaded guilty in court. Soden died in September 2025 when authorities said Lange backed over him with her vehicle after drinking at Bentley’s Tavern in Malta, where both worked. “We have a lawsuit against Bentley’s currently, as well as Morgan Lange and some of the individuals involved, as far as the management of Bentley’s.
