Depending on which press release one reads, Toyota's battery will deliver between 745 and 932 miles per charge.
At some point, one has to ask whether solid-state batteries represent a long but ultimately successful undertaking, or an ever-growing sunk cost.
And if solid-state batteries ultimately go nowhere, both companies have the financial depth to absorb the loss and move on.
