McDonald of the National Fraud Enforcement Division will outline new enforcement initiatives aimed at combating fraud throughout the region. Henry McMaster, along with U.S. attorneys from Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina and South Carolina. State attorneys general from Mississippi, Louisiana, North Carolina and South Carolina are also expected to participate. The Justice Department said the announcement will focus on record fraud enforcement actions across the Southeast and new partnerships designed to strengthen cooperation between federal and state law enforcement agencies.
