Carolyn Josephine McCall, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother passed away on June 28, 2026. There she met her husband Jerry McCall, whom she married in February 1959. Once completing her graduate degrees, she went on to teach at the University of Missouri–Kansas City and at Northwest Missouri State University from 1986 until her retirement in 2011. While teaching at Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, Missouri, she regularly drove back to Lincoln to attend every home football game. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 28, at 9:30 a.m. at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 2110 Sheridan Blvd., Lincoln, Nebraska, with a reception immediately following the service.
