The National Weather Service issued tornado and severe thunderstorm watches for much of Maryland until 10 p.m. Tuesday. UPDATE: Tornado Warning for east-central Harford County until 6:15 p.m. At 5:51 p.m., a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over Bel Air South, or near Aberdeen, moving east at 15 mph. UPDATE: The National Weather Service has issued a Tornado Warning for Northeast Harford and Northwest Cecil counties until 6 p.m. Tuesday. The Storm Prediction Center has much of Maryland under a slight risk for severe weather. It will help stabilize the atmosphere a little and reduce the threat for severe weather this afternoon.
