A Baltimore County grand jury has indicted a 16-year-old boy in connection with the killings of a brother and sister in their Gwynn Oak home earlier this month. Keith Maurice James Jr. is being prosecuted as an adult on two counts of first-degree murder, two counts of using a firearm in a violent crime and one count of illegally possessing a regulated firearm while under 21Court papers show that James and 15-year-old Giovanna Myrie talked through FaceTime before meeting July 4. Investigators said James went to her Gwynn Oak home three days later. Baltimore County police said James killed Myrie and her brother, Steve Allen, at their home on Talles Road on July 7.
