Severn Area Rescue Association (SARA) Beachley lifeboat crews were paged by HM Coastguard at around 9.20pm on Saturday evening, July 25. A jet ski had drifted onto the hazardous Hen and Chickens rocks near Beachley due to engine problems. The falling tide had left the jet ski firmly stranded on the exposed rocks, which made immediate recovery impossible. A SARA spokesperson said: "At around 9:20pm on Saturday evening, SARA Lifeboat crews were paged by HM Coastguard to assist a jet ski that had become stranded on the Hen and Chickens rocks close to Beachley. "The falling tide had left the jet ski firmly stranded on the exposed rocks, making immediate recovery impossible.
