Sonora, CA – New information released by the Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office reveals details about the capture of the alleged Dove Fire arsonist. Hoskins was recognized by members of the Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office and the Sonora Police Department in the social media imagery based on numerous prior law enforcement contacts. A TCSO deputy initially contacted Hoskins; however, at that time there was insufficient probable cause to detain him. The deputy was assisted by personnel from the Sonora Police Department, and CAL FIRE law enforcement. The Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank our community.
