French football legend Zinedine Zidane has been appointed as the new head coach of the France national team on a four-year deal, replacing Didier Deschamps who stepped down after the 2026 World Cup. Speaking after his appointment, Zidane described the opportunity to lead France as a major honour and responsibility. “I have often said there is nothing greater than the French national team.
