The closure affects the operations at 91 Bree Street only, while the wider Chefs Warehouse group continues trading across the Western Cape. Popular destinations including Chefs Warehouse at Beau Constantia, Chefs Warehouse at Maison in Franschhoek, Chefs Warehouse at Tintswalo Atlantic, as well as Thali and Cantina in Stellenbosch, will continue operating as normal. Following a temporary closure, the restaurant returned in 2022 at 91 Bree Street after the redevelopment of the three-storey building. He added: ‘While one chapter is coming to an end, another is just beginning, and we are genuinely excited to welcome you to the future of Chefs Warehouse.’ Although another familiar name has disappeared from Bree Street, the wider Chefs Warehouse collection remains firmly part of the Western Cape’s dining landscape as preparations begin for its next chapter.
