NET Web DeskMizoram Chief Minister Lalduhoma on Tuesday chaired a review meeting with officials of the National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL) working in Mizoram at the CM’s Conference Hall. The meeting was attended by Vanlalhlana, PWD Minister, along with officials from PWD, Planning & Economics Department, and NHIDCL. He also emphasized that when new bypass roads are constructed, existing roads passing through towns must be properly handed over to the State PWD. NHIDCL officials informed him that the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways has already been directed to examine the proposal, and the Chief Minister urged NHIDCL to expedite action. NHIDCL also briefed the Chief Minister on challenges faced at ongoing work sites.
