ASRockI asked an AMD representative to clarify the discrepancy between the 8GB spec on AMD’s website and ASRock’s listing.
So you won’t see that 4GB card on store shelves or in GPU-only online listings, only in pre-built (presumably budget) gaming desktop PCs.
The RX 9050 8GB card is set at a $279 USD introductory price, but for the initial release it will only be available in the Latin American and APJ (Asia-Pacific and Japan) markets.
The RX 9050 is the first AMD desktop card release in almost a full year.
We haven’t seen a 4GB desktop card from AMD since the RDNA2-based Radeon RX 6400 back in 2022.
