Tributes have been paid to a “much loved dad” from the Highlands who died while walking in Glencoe. The heating engineer, from Munlochy on the Black Isle, was the “dearly loved husband” of Karin, as well as the dad of Matthias, Antje, John and Duncan. Mr Kremer died on the same day as Inverness-based cancer surgeon Russell Mullen. But donations for Glencoe Mountain Rescue – whose members were called to help Mr Kremer – may be given at the ceremony. She added: “Frank rescued us when our boiler broke in horrible winter weather and has been our heating engineer since.
