Villagers launch three-day protest against planned Fife data centre as developers arrive

Fife villagers made plain their opposition to a planned £5 billion data centre on their doorstep as developers arrived to speak to them on Tuesday.
Colin and Isobel Telfer live on a farm right on the proposed data centre’s boundary.
He believes all applications for data centres should be paused until the Scottish Government sets a policy.
“But we would welcome national guidance that helps ensure a consistent approach to considering data centre developments across Scotland.”
More than 6,000 people have already signed a petition calling for a moratorium on data centres.
