Dundee United midfielder Julius Eskesen is attracting transfer interest from Danish outfit Esbjerg fB. Eskesen, who struggled to break into the Tangerines’ side last season, has enjoyed a bright start to the campaign following Jim Goodwin’s switch to a 4-3-3. They are bossed by Sancheev Manoharan, who coached Eskesen at Haugesund prior to his switch to Scotland. However, he will remain a part of boss Jim Goodwin’s plans if he opts to remain at Tannadice and fight for his place following some fine early-season displays. Courier Sport understands fellow Danish club Kolding IF, and Halmstad BK in the Swedish top-flight are also monitoring the player’s situation.
