Not-for-profit New South Wales provider Uniting has opened a new retirement living village in Sydney’s inner-west. Officially opening its doors last week, McRae-McMahon Place in Leichhardt features 65 homes, including 12 apartments allocated for social housing. McRae-McMahon Place, he said, “reimagines” the notion of retirement living communities. Mr Furness said Uniting was passionate about helping seniors spend their retirement in places where they wanted to live.
