Of the hot water system at UES, Director Rashi Akki said the system is obsolete and the district has been working to replace them at all the schools and it’s time to replace the system at UES.
The $17,100 cost is part of the district’s Long-Range Facilities Plan.
The work includes replacing the existing building automation system (BAS) controllers for the heating hot water system at the school.
The $32,758 cost is not currently funded by the Long-Range Facilities Plan but will be added.
Other actionsDirectors voted to allow service animals, including miniature horses, in the schools for students and staff if required.
