According to local and rights sources, 6,231 violations targeting health facilities and workers were recorded between January 1, 2020 and July 1, 2026 across multiple provinces. Other violations included looting of medical supplies, destruction of facilities, and diversion of medicines to the black market, depriving civilians of access. Field monitors documented the deaths of 62 health workers including 29 doctors, 14 nurses, and 19 ambulance drivers along with 87 injuries. The report also recorded 167 cases of arrest and abduction, and 19 enforced disappearances of medical staff. Rights groups warn that such violations severely undermine millions of Yemenis’ right to healthcare, exacerbating the humanitarian crisis in areas under Houthi control.
