Russia is among the global leaders in the artificial intelligence development race, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told the Territory of Meanings forum. "We remain among the top five countries participating in the race," he noted, speaking about AI development. Peskov recalled that several companies are working on artificial intelligence in Russia, each utilizing its own approach. They are competing domestically," the Kremlin spokesman said. While Russian systems cannot yet compete with leading US large language models, they are "at a very high level of development," Peskov stated.
