Author and Wordless Music founder Ronen Givony released Us V. Them, a book looking back on Brooklyn’s indie music scene from 2004-2014, earlier this year, and to celebrate we’re teaming up with him, Wordless Music, and Roulette for a two-day event highlighting that same scene. It happens at Roulette on October 1 and October 2, and tickets are on sale now. Night one “Celebrating Silent Barn,” is a benefit for Roulette with performances from Dirty Projectors‘ David Longstreth, Circuit des Yeux‘s Haley Fohr, and the Wordless Music String Quartet, plus a short discussion and reading from Us v. Them. Night two is a standing room/GA show with The Fiery Furnaces, a rare set from Skeletons Big Band, and special guests to be announced. Pick up Us v. Them in the BV shop.
