Netflix executive and film producer Kevin Baillie was fired from his job for allegedly using medically prescribed ketamine after the loss of his mother. The vice president and head of creative at Eyeline Studios, Netflix’s visual effects division, revealed his drug use during a “vulnerability-trust exercise” at Netflix’s Sendero Ranch in Northern California. Kevin Baillie is involved in an ongoing lawsuit with Netflix regarding his termination. At the January 2026 retreat, Baillie revealed that he was medically prescribed the general anesthetic for his clinical depression following his mom’s death. In April 2026, Baillie was fired from his Netflix job, at which he makes an estimated $1.1 million annually.
