(Courtesy image)Phynd has launched a beta version of its free game-streaming platform on LG smart televisions in the United States, giving users access to a catalog of games without requiring a dedicated console.
Phynd (stylized as “PHYND”) is promoting the service as a free, ad-supported alternative to conventional console and cloud gaming platforms.
The launch also expands LG’s interactive entertainment offering as the television manufacturer adds more gaming services to webOS and its LG Gaming Portal.
Puzzle, strategy and trivia games include “Melbits World,” “The Lullaby of Life” and “Who Wants to Be A Millionaire?”
