Nine Fire Departments responded to an early morning structure fire at 67 Baxters Ledge Road in Trenton on Monday, July 27th. The Trenton Volunteer Fire Department was toned out at approximately 4:49 a.m. and upon arrival the fire had extended through the roof. A dog was rescued from the residence and was uninjured and is being taken care of by a nearby family. The Bar Harbor Fire Department responded with a Rapid Intervention Crew to support interior operations. The Mount Desert Fire Department responded with a tanker and crew to assist with water supply operations.
