"During her speech at our wedding, she didn't mention me once. She just talked about how proud she was of her son and how handsome he looked that day. She didn't congratulate us, welcome me to the family, or even mention the wedding at all. And honestly, after years of seeing the atrocious way she talks to her own son, I'll never, ever, ever forgive her. I guess her son did get what he wanted in the end.
