Parks Canada says a search is underway in Waterton Lakes National Park for a British Columbia senior last seen more than a week ago. Golden, B.C., resident Bob Toothill, 81, had plans to arrive in Coleman, in the Crowsnest Pass, after hiking section A of the Great Divide Trail, but failed to arrive, Parks Canada said on social media. His last known location was Rowe Lakes Trail on July 19. Parks Canada search efforts are focused in the western portion of Waterton Lakes National Park, while Southwest Alberta Regional Search and Rescue is searching additional areas outside the park. "The most helpful thing the public can do at this time is share official social media posts and information about the search," said Parks Canada, adding it discourages volunteer searchers.
