AI and digital technologies* are used in most Australian workplaces in a range of different ways. They can create both work health and safety (WHS) opportunities and risks. The organisation states when introducing and using AI and digital technologies in the workplace, persons conducting a business or undertaking (PCBUs) must manage the associated WHS risks in the same way they would any other WHS risk. However, they can also create challenges which if not addressed can introduce new or increase existing WHS risks.
