Steamboat Springs is projected to see another hot July week, with high temperatures forecast near 90 degrees and a chance of moisture in the midweek, according to local meteorologist Mike Weissbluth’s twice-weekly forecast . So far this month, he wrote, Steamboat has recorded its warmest low temperatures over both one- and two-week periods. Afternoon and evening thunderstorms this week will likely produce late-day cooldowns, with any storms allowing the potential for heavy rain, gusty winds and small hail, peaking on Wednesday, added Weissbluth.
